Research interests

I am a palaeobiologist, funded by a Clarendon Fellowship, with a research focus on how climate influences evolutionary dynamics and biogeographic distributions through the Phanerozoic. My work seeks to better understand the complex interplay between biotic and abiotic factors, like geographic distribution and climatic variations, in driving extinction on macroevolutionary timescale. A significant aspect of my research involves using brachiopods as model organisms to investigate extinction and biogeographic patterns at a finer temporal and taxonomic scale.
