Research interests

I am a conservation palaeontologist with a keen interest in exploring species range change and extinction dynamics through the integration of palaeontological, historical, and recent data streams. I began my PhD, through the NERC DTP for Environmental Research, in October 2021. Alongside my supervisor, Erin Saupe, I will investigate the temporal evolution of species ranges across varied environments and climatic conditions. Additionally, I am hoping to contribute to the development and implementation of the IUCN Green Status of Species, a truly inspiring project that will facilitate evaluation of species recovery and conservation impact.
