Research interests

I am interested in early life evolution, palaeoecology and palaeogeography. My current research examines the origin and evolution of eukaryotes through the fossil record. I am aiming to examine microfossils from key assemblages of the Brasier Collection that span the Proterozoic Eon using new techniques. Correlation analyses such as phylogenies will be used to determine the timing of eukaryogenesis, the early evolutionary history of the group, and the early evolution of the modern biosphere. I have a background at the intersection of geography and ecology, so I also interested in palaeogeographic reconstruction and palaeoecology. I hope to make every effort to get a glimpse of earth and life.
